The path into a job at Silverleaf
Silverleaf trains certified nursing assistants and then hires them. If you are starting from nothing, this is the route.

Academic study with experienced educators, then clinical practice inside our own assisted living and memory care buildings, supported by certified nurse instructors.

Do I need CNA certification to apply?
No. CNA or medication credentials are valued but not required. What matters most is compassion, reliability, and a genuine desire to care for others.
Which roles can I apply for?
The application covers caregivers, certified nursing assistants, medication aides, chef and kitchen roles, housekeeping and maintenance, and nursing or leadership. Choose the one that fits, or something else.
How can I become a CNA through Silverleaf?
Through Silverleaf Academy, our CNA school run in partnership with the State of Texas. You study with experienced educators, practice clinically inside our own buildings, then sit for Texas CNA certification.

Silverleaf runs background checks and the state registry check required for this work. We will walk you through that after we talk.
