Our Mission

We believe every senior should have the opportunity to age gracefully and in comfort, surrounded by love, laughter, and community spirit. With an unparalleled staff to resident ratio, we provide compassionate care, hearty home-cooked meals, and engaging activities to enrich our residents’ lives in mind, body, and spirit.

Our Core Values

G: Go the Extra Mile
U: Unreasonable Hospitality
E: Excellence that is Obvious
S: Solution Oriented
T: Take Initiative
S: Servant’s Heart

G: Do more than what is expected of you, support your team, residents, management & overall environment.

U: Be Unreasonable in the way we serve every single person who comes into this space. They should feel more welcome here than any other facility that exists. They should want for nothing during their time here.

E: Excellence: “the quality of being outstanding or extremely good”. We are the best, show the people who come here. There should not be any guesses about it. It has to be undeniable.

S: Looking at the problem holistically and neutrally; truly understanding the full scope of the problem. Solution-Oriented people pull the right people together to solve the problem and they are usually solving the problem using a structured and formal approach.

T: Thinking proactively about tasks— not just to check them off a list, but to get them done well. It’s about going the extra mile on the basic tasks you’re assigned, thinking through complications, and taking on work before someone asks you to.

S: Service is not just the big things; little acts of thoughtfulness such as listening to what people say or doing necessary tasks without grumbling are some of the most important forms of service. Having a servants’ heart means that no job is too small to be beneath us: any way we can help is great!

Welcome Home

Silverleaf Eldercare is the right choice for those looking for an Austin senior living community that feels more like a home than a facility. Our ultimate goal is to deliver the highly personalized care seniors need to enjoy the best quality of life possible. In turn, we also offer family caregivers peace of mind in knowing their loved one is receiving the compassionate and attentive care they deserve.

Our communities are small houses that feel much more like home than a large facility housing dozens of residents. This small size and familiar environment allow our staff to get to know each resident personally, providing them with a comfortable and fulfilling retirement experience. With an impressive 1:6 staff-to-resident ratio, we can cater to each resident’s every need, no matter how much time or assistance they require.

The Silverleaf Eldercare Difference

At Silverleaf Eldercare, we are focused on getting to know each resident, and providing Austin locals with the best quality care and most comfortable residential assisted living. Due to our small size, we can modify a care plan to fit the needs and wants of your loved one. Almost all the services we offer are performed on-site in our home environment, allowing residents to receive all the care they need with ease and in comfort.

We pride ourselves in providing not only the highest staff-to-resident ratios in all of Austin’s eldercare facilities but also a caring environment that feels just like home. When your loved one resides at Silverleaf Eldercare, they are treated with the utmost dignity and respect by highly trained, compassionate caregivers. Surrounded by love and light, our residents receive all the cognitive, emotional, spiritual, and physical support they need.

At Silverleaf assisted living, we believe that moving to senior care shouldn’t involve leaving hobbies behind, which is why we strive to help residents pursue their interests. Residents in our Austin senior living homes who can function at a higher cognitive or physical level are provided with a passion project. For example, if residents love to garden, we will add a garden for them to work on. If residents love to read books, we will provide a staff member to read to them or take them to our library. Our goal is to care for each resident holistically, supporting them to continue enjoying their cherished pastimes.

Medical Issues are No Issue

Most medical services our residents need are performed on-site at our Austin senior living facilities, where we welcome a diverse range of caregivers. Physicians, psychiatrists, nurses, therapists, and personal care attendants are able to assist our residents and provide vital support without the need for travel. Residents who have built a great relationship with a home health agency are more than welcome to continue receiving care from them here.

We welcome a wide range of diagnoses at our assisted senior living homes in Austin, TX:

    • Spinal Cord Injuries

Frequently Asked Questions

What Is Residential Assisted Living?

Residential Assisted Living is the new alternative to the “big-box” institutional style of senior care. RAL homes typically have a much smaller caregiver-to-resident ratio than big-box facilities and offer seniors a “home” environment within communities.

How Much Does It Cost?

Unlike big-box facilities, our monthly rate is all-inclusive. It does not increase based on level-of-care. We do not charge additional fees for providing services such as laundry, housekeeping or daily activities. Our fees are normally significantly lower than nursing homes and other large assisted living facilities. Reach out to us to set up a consultation for an exact quote.

Do You Accept Medicare, Medicaid, Or Long Term Care Insurance?

We are 100% private pay, however, if you have a long-term care insurance plan, we will gladly help you complete all the paperwork needed to get reimbursed each month.

How Is The Food?

Our menu is prepared by a dietician that specializes in seniors and their needs. The meals are prepared fresh on the day of and are almost always made from scratch. We encourage feedback from residents and their families! We have a seasonal menu that rotates every few months. We offer plenty of alternatives in the event your loved one does not want what is being served. We will also tailor our menu to each resident’s needs.

Do You Allow Onsite Medical Visits?

Yes! We work with several medical providers in the community who are happy to come to our homes to see residents. These include a nurse practitioner, med-pass nurse, podiatrist, dentist, home health, hospice, wound care and PT/OT/ST.

Do I Need To Provide My Loved One With Furniture?

The entire home is decorated, including the bedrooms, but residents can bring their own furniture and change the décor. We will be happy to provide all room furnishings, if needed
